1. Is the provider QABA approved?
Ask for proof that the provider is a QABA Approved Training Program, because only approved coursework counts toward the QABA ABAT pathway. You can verify approvals on the QABA website.
2. Is it 40 hours of live coursework?
The ABAT pathway needs 40 hours of approved coursework. Check that the hours are real teaching hours and whether classes are live and instructor-led or pre-recorded.
3. Classroom or online?
Classroom learning suits those in or near Chennai who prefer face-to-face discussion. Online live classes suit working professionals and learners elsewhere in India. A good provider offers both.
4. What exactly does the fee include?
Ask what the course fee covers - materials, assessments, certificate, fieldwork - and what it does not. QABA exam and credentialing fees are paid to QABA, so be wary of anyone who bundles them without explaining.
5. How is fieldwork handled?
QABA requires 15 hours of supervised fieldwork, and candidates must be enrolled in coursework before supervised hours begin. Ask how the provider supports this step.
6. Who teaches the course?
Look for instructors with real experience in ABA and autism intervention, who can connect theory to day-to-day practice.
7. Are claims honest?
No provider can promise that finishing a course will give you the ABAT credential or a job. QABA issues the credential independently after you meet all its requirements.
8. Can you talk to a person?
Call or message the team, ask your questions and see how clearly they answer.
